Purpose :

1. To arouse pupils’ interest in learning the topic about food in a Life-wide Learning mode.
2. Pupils would be able to practise the use of the target language structures to buy food:
   “What do you want? / May I help you?”
   “Can I have a hamburger and a cup of coke, please?”
   “Twenty dollars, please.”
   “Thank you.”
3. To promote pupils’ collaboration skills, self-learning abilities, study skills, management skills and communication skills through the activity.
4. To foster pupils’ correct values and attitudes including “Love”, “Caring” and “Independence”.
